About SaaSMetricsCalculator.com
Independent reference for SaaS finance metrics. Twelve interactive calculators, every formula explained, and 2026 benchmarks by funding stage drawn from primary sources.
Why this site exists
Founders and SaaS finance leads asking "what is a good NRR for Series A?" or "how do I compute burn multiple correctly?" land on one of three things: a CFO consultancy lead-gen funnel that gates the numbers behind a demo call, a CRM vendor pricing page that conveniently steers the discussion toward their tool, or a long-form investor blog that quotes a single benchmark from a single year and calls it the truth.
This site exists to be the fourth option. Every metric has its own formula reference, a calculator that actually computes from your inputs (not a placeholder), benchmark ranges drawn from named primary sources, and worked numerical examples so the formula is intelligible without a finance background. No vendor pitch, no email gate, no affiliate parameters on the calculators.
Last verified May 2026. Verification cadence is documented on the methodology page.
Who runs this
Oliver Wakefield-Smith
Founder, Digital Signet
Builds reference tools and calculators that compete with vendor-tooling pages on depth, freshness, and honesty. SaaSMetricsCalculator.com is one of several Digital Signet reference sites in the SaaS and AI finance space. Sister sites cover SaaS valuation multiples, Claude API pricing, and cost of churn.
Editorial position
Not a vendor
We do not sell SaaS finance software. No demo to book, no trial to start, no upsell on a paid tier. The calculators are the product, and the product is free.
No affiliate parameters
External links to calculators or pricing pages are clean URLs. We do not earn commission when you compute your burn multiple here and then sign up somewhere else.
No paid placements
Vendor names that appear (Stripe, ChartMogul, Bessemer, OpenView, KeyBanc) are not sponsored. They appear because the public benchmark data they publish is what we cite.
Investor-neutral
We are not raising a fund. We are not affiliated with any VC. The benchmarks reflect what public data says works; they are not the marketing position of any single investor.
Source-first
Every benchmark range cites the primary source. If we cannot point to a 2024-2026 public document or named dataset, the number does not go on the page.
Correction-friendly
If a number is wrong or out of date, email [email protected]. We correct on a five-business-day SLA and timestamp the change.
